Our silver-tiered tea trays will include artisanal savories, tea sandwiches, our special Christmas cookies, and bite-sized Christmas sweets. A visit is not complete without a taste of hot cocoa with homemade marshmallow. We offer a special children's tea on request in December.

Show-Your-Stripes Children's Zebra Tea
Saturdays and Sundays in December; 2:00-4 pm
Make it a family tradition to bring your little ones to our special holiday children's tea, with its marzipan chocolate mice, Nutella/ banana treats and PB&J tea sandwiches (crusts off, of course), hot cocoa with homemade marshmallow, and lots of Maria's special gingerbread Zebras and holiday cookies.
Bring a new stuffed Zebra or other stuffed animal toy, all of whom will live happily under our dazzling tree until Christmas, when they will be donated to Children's Hospital Boston.
Children's Tea: $15; Adult Zebra Tea: $30.

It's long been a Harvard Square tradition to celebrate the ushering in of the New Year at UpStairs on the Square.

as we ring in 2014 and great new adventures for us all, we'll be saying a big and heartfelt goodbye to 31 years at UpStairs, and we'll do it in style, with early and late seatings on each of our two levels of dining.
