The Final Night Under the Lights at Devon

Devon, PA – May 31, 2026 – Amateur-Owner competitors closed out hunter division competition on Saturday with the crowning of the 3'3" and 3'6" Amateur-Owner Hunter Division Champions, as well as the Devon Grand Amateur-Owner Hunter 3'3" and 3'6" Champions. The final evening of the show concluded with the $182,000 Idle Dice Open Jumper Stake and the Driving and Saddle Championships.

The final FEI jumper class of the 130th Devon Horse Show and Country Fair took center stage on Saturday night with the $182,000 Idle Dice Open Jumper Stake, sponsored by Frank & Eileen.

On the last night of competition, Shane Sweetnam and Pegina VD Bisschop, owned by Shane Sweetnam & Voquest LLC, saved the best for last.


Returning as the final pair to contest the jump-off, Sweetnam laid down a blazing round, stopping the clock in 36.24 seconds to secure victory in the $182,000 Idle Dice Open Stake, sponsored by Frank & Eileen.

About The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair 


Started in 1896, The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair is the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse show in North America and draws in top competitors worldwide. With the grandeur of Philadelphia's historic Main Line as its backdrop, the show continues to reflect the local traditions and lifestyles of the community. Over 2,000 volunteers run the event, and there are various boutique shops in miniature cottages, amusement rides and games for kids, multiple dining options, and live entertainment. Proceeds support The Bryn Mawr Hospital. 


The Devon Horse Show Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates to serve the charitable and educational purposes of The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair, Inc.
