The Alliance for Green Heat staff visited three firewood banks in Montana last week: Firewood Bank of the Ruby Valley, Beaverhead Community Wood Bank Ministry, and Swan Valley Connections' firewood bank.

National Forest Foundation - Wood for Life Coordinator

Full-time position (WFH Flexible, Flagstaff, AZ) that will manage projects and support partnerships to implement the Wood for Life tribal fuelwood initiative and other key forest health projects throughout the Southwest. Wood for Life is a partnership that connects biomass and small diameter timber from restoration projects with communities that rely on firewood for home heating and other uses.
