Now is a good time to check the list of persons for whom we are praying at St. Peter’s. If you have asked prayers for someone and would like to have that name removed, or have names to add, please give that information in writing to Mark Engelhardt. Also, if you have persons serving in the Armed Forces who are not on our list, please give that information to Mark.
 
Annual Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 23 Leaders of Parish Organizations are reminded that reports will be needed no later than next Sunday, January 16th for the Annual Report. Please send to Mark, either in e-mail form (preferred) or hard copy as soon as you can.
 
Bishop Rodney Michel, former Rector of St. Peter’s Church, and retired Bishop Suffragan of the Diocese of Long Island continues to be hospitalized in Pennsylvania. Please pray for his
recovery and that he may soon be restored to good health.

We pray for those for whom our prayers have been asked: Abigail, Andrea, Ann, Annette, Autumn, Betty C., Bill, Chris, Cindy, Corey, Diane, Donna, Elinor, Felix (Sr.), Gary, Greg, Hannah, Jim, Joel, Joy, June, Kamryn,
Lorraine, Matthew, Michelle, Mike, Mother Vivian, Muriel, Rick, Bishop Rodney Michel, Roger, Sarah Grace, Shanti, Sister Joy, Steve, Sue, Vincent, and William;

We pray for those who have died,remembering especially Edward Egan, uncle and godfather of Brian Clark, Annakutty Itty, and Betty Mack; and all those grieving the death of a loved one, that they may they find comfort and peace;
 
We pray for those in military service, and especially for Christian, Erik, John, Matt, Robert, and Stephen;
 
We pray for the unemployed and underemployed; for all who suffer from addictions; for all who suffer chronic illness, and for all caregivers;

We pray for our companion diocese of Torit of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan; and for mercy, peace, and justice among all peoples, especially those whose lives have been devastated by natural disasters, terrorism, war, famine, tyranny, or injustice;
 
In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer we pray for Christ Church, Port Jefferson; Church of the Atonement, Quogue; Grace Church, Riverhead; Staff & Board of Managers of Camp DeWolfe; Christ Church, Sag Harbor; St. James', St. James; St. Andrew's, Saltaire;
 
In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer we pray for Iglesia Anglicana de Chile; and these Dioceses of Churches of the Anglican Communion: Jaffna (South India); Jalingo, Jebba (Nigeria); Jamaica & The Cayman Islands (West Indies); Jerusalem (Jerusalem and the Middle East); San Joaquin (USA). 

Diocesan and state health guidelines prevail. Please observe the procedures listed below, and as always, thank you for observing these protocols, which is an expression of your care for everyone in the Parish family.
 
AT THE TIME FOR COMMUNION:
¨ Only the Host (Bread) will be distributed; not wine
¨ Please approach the Altar in SINGLE FILE from the Center aisle only, not the side aisles
¨ Communicants should sanitize their hands before receiving the host.
¨ The Host will be placed in the palm of each Communicant, not on the tongue
¨ Please return to your seat, by way of the side aisles

Please also remember, per the mandates of the State of New York and
The Episcopal Diocese of Long Island:
 
· Face Masks are required to be worn by all in attendance at all times.
(We have a supply on hand, if you forgot yours.)
 
· Physical Distancing of 6 feet must be maintained at all times, and pews are marked for that purpose.
 
· Please place your offering in one of the Offering Plates near the Altar before the service begins.

You can donate online and even use our safe and secure parish website for pledging, and making donations to the Food Pantry, and to the Music Program. Look for "Donate" at www.stpetersbayshore.org.
 
You may also direct your Thrivent Choice Dollars to St. Peter's: Individuals who participate in the Thrivent financial network and have Choice Dollars can designate these dollars to St. Peter's. To learn more, contact your Thrivent rep or call (800) 847-4836 and mention Choice Dollars.

The Parish office can receive your pledges and gifts via US Mail, and we are now able to accept your donations and pledge payments electronically through PayPal (which charges a 2.5% fee), or if your bank is a registered Zelle user, you may make donations by sending to
