The First Tournament of the New Year was FIN-tastic!

The first tournament of the new year was this past weekend! The Florida Redfish Series held its season kickoff on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Tons of redfish were brought in! Records were broken with the largest turnout ever in their series for both boaters and kayaks. As well as the largest payouts yet at $22K! 1st Place took home $8,050 for the boaters division and 1st place kayak took home $1,900.

The winners are as follows:

1st Place - Team Wheeler, 14.24lbs

2nd Place - Team Batchlor/Altman, 13.5lbs

3rd Place - Team TH Marine, 13.49lbs

4th Place - Team Vasi & Associates, 13.09lbs

5th Place - Team Skinny Water Lures Maverick

6th Place - Team Shore-Up, 12.74lbs

7th Place - Team Sea Hag Marina, 12.65lbs

8th Place - Team Soggy Shrimp, 12.44lb
