AWF 2025 Scholarship Awards and Hall of Fame Ceremony was a Smashing Success!

On March 19, 2025, the U.S. Army Women's Foundation and supporters gathered at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia to present scholarships to Army women and their lineal descendants, and to induct 6 extraordinary Army Women and 1 outstanding Veterans organization into the Hall of Fame. Month of the Military Child

April is the Month of the Military Child, which acknowledges and recognizes the resilience and experiences of military children. Gold Star Spouses Day

A Gold Star Spouse is the surviving wife or husband of a fallen service member. In 2010, Congress designated April 5 as Gold Star Spouses Day to honor these spouses and their sacrifice.

2026 Hall of Fame Nominations Now Open

The 2026 U.S. Army Women's Foundation Hall of Fame nomination form is now open. Annually the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation honors the service and sacrifices of U.S. Army women through our Hall of Fame Induction and Champion Awards program. Women who have served in the Army or the Armed Forces and contributed extraordinary service are eligible for induction into the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation Hall of Fame. Our Champion Awards are presented to any individual who has made exceptional contributions to women in the Army or the Armed Forces. We are now accepting nominations through August 8, 2025. U.S. Army Reserve Birthday

On April 23, 2025, the Army Reserve will be celebrating 117 years. Each year, the Reserve is honored for its contributions to numerous conflicts -- two World Wars, the Cold War, Vietnam, Korea, the Persian Gulf, and many other similar wars and crises.
