REACHING BIG: SOUTH AFRICAN ROAD BLOCK
I loved Cape Town, especially the wild life like this black rhino blocking our route.
Capetown
Cape Town
A coming-together of cultures, cuisines and landscapes, there's nowhere quite like Cape Town, a singularly beautiful city crowned by the magnificent Table Mountain National Park.
There's Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, and then there's Artscape Theatre Center in Cape Town. Looking out over the city from the banquet hall terrace you see all of Cape Town from luxury guarded estates to shanty neighborhoods with the worst of poverty.
Artscape Theatre Centre
Artscape Theatre Centre, Cape Town
Artscape Theatre Centre is the main performing arts centre in Cape Town, South Africa. It was opened in 1971 and is located on reclaimed land in the Foreshore area. The complex includes:

The Artscape Theatre Centre was originally commissioned by the Provincial Administration of the Cape Province and run by CAPAB (Cape Performing Arts Board). It was formerly known as the Nico Malan Theatre Complex, after the former National Party administrator of the Cape Province, Dr. Johannes Nicholas Malan (commonly known as Nico Malan), who initiated the project. The centre was privatized and renamed in March 2001, when the Cape Performing Arts Board (CAPAB) was dissolved.

The Artscape Theatre Centre is also the home of Fine Music Radio and oversees the Maynardville Open-Air Theatre in Wynberg, Cape Town. It also houses the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra and the Cape Town Opera. The Cape Town City Ballet also performs there

ON BROADWAY
Judy's done it again. Co-producer of Six, Judy Seinfeld is a progressive stateswoman for the arts.
Six the Musical
Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived.

From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the mic to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an exuberant celebration of 21st century girl power! This new original musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over. The New York Times says SIX “TOTALLY RULES!” (Critic's Pick) and The Washington Post hails SIX as “Exactly the kind of energizing, inspirational illumination this town aches for! The Broadway season got supercharged!”

Judy Greenberg Seinfeld ’56 Reflects on Professional, Personal Life
From Syracuse University News, May 18, 2016
Judy Greenberg Seinfeld traveled last week to Syracuse University from her New Jersey home, both for Commencement and a meeting of the Board of Trustees. She remains deeply involved with her alma mater. She has returned many times since she graduated 60 years ago, in 1956.

This visit had particular resonance. On May 27, Seinfeld turns 80, a moment she does not view with foreboding. Instead, she sees that birthday as a cause for reflection and motivation. Seinfeld recalls her life as a series of professional or artistic transitions, great change that reinforces the core of who she is.

In a critical way, Seinfeld says, that process began at Syracuse.

“They offered me freedom, freedom to try new things, the overriding theme in my life,” she says. “I wasn’t a wild kid or anything, but no one said ‘no’ arbitrarily. These people have soul. They listened to what I have to say.”
KID'S CORNER
I don't know a kid by the age of five that hasn't been into dinosaurs. And I don't know a grown adult that isn't still in awe of dinosaurs. We keep learning more and more about them including ones in our own country.
