Called to Glory

Rev. Bob Besalski was called to eternal rest on November 7. May God be praised for this faithful servant in his work and raising up workers for the kingdom. Please pray for his wife, Elaine, and daughters, Kerri and Betsy, as they mourn his passing but rejoice for the life he lived. Memorial service will be held at First Lutheran, Gainesville, FL, on November 18, with visitation at 1 pm, service at 2 pm, and a reception to follow.

Rev. Gary Held was called home to Jesus on October 23. He served as the pastor of Risen Savior, Palm Bay, FL, for 18 years, then he took a call to the Southern District, LCMS, in 2022. Please pray for his family and friends as they mourn his death but rejoice for the life he lived. A memorial for Rev. Held will be held at Risen Savior Lutheran Church on November 25 at 11 a.m.
