Called to Glory

Will Kromphardt (Principal Emeritus) was called to eternal glory on January 16, 2024. Will served Lutheran schools in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Eustis, FL (Faith); Glendale, NY; and Bergholtz, NY. Please pray for God's peace and comfort for his wife, Carol, and their family.

Kenneth Durante, father of Rev. Tony Durante (Plantation, FL), went home to Jesus on Thursday, February 1. Please pray for Kenneth's family as they mourn his passing but are reminded of life eternal in Christ.

Prayers

Rev. Joe Adams (Christ the King, Largo, FL) has been diagnosed with a brain tumor, and surgery is scheduled for February 8. Please pray for successful surgery as the Lord works through the surgeons and post-surgical treatment.

Please pray for Nancy Volz (FLGA District Board of Directors Member) as she continues her recovery from spinal fusion surgery. Pray specifically for the nerves in her feet to be awakened to eliminate neuropathy so she can walk without assistance.

Kay Jacobson (Emeritus Teacher) is undergoing knee revision surgery. Please pray for those caring for Kay, for successful surgery, and a full recovery.

Michael Rottman (Principal, Grace, Winter Haven, FL) is preparing to begin radiation treatment for vocal cord cancer. Please pray for healing.

Roy Heflin (DCE Emeritus) is now in Stage 5 Kidney Disease. Dialysis is the next step unless he gets a donor. Please pray for the Lord's continued strength, provision, and peace. Have you considered becoming an organ transplant donor?

Rev. Don Stier (Immanuel, Tavernier, FL) had successful surgery to remove a blood clot in his lung and is recovering at home.

Please pray for the men and women who are deployed. Pray for their safety, their health, and their spiritual care. Pray also for their families who live their lives without their loved ones with them.

Please pray for Rev. Chris Patterson as he waits for a liver transplant and adjusts to a new medication.

Rev. Andy Ritchie (St. Paul, Lakeland, FL) continues testing and procedures to seek answers for health issues with his pancreas. Please pray for peace and guidance for Andy and his healthcare team.

Rev. Dr. Robert Maltzahn (Emeritus) is in a rehab facility in Gainesville, GA. Please pray for him as he recovers from surgery.

Rev. James Drummond (Emeritus) is battling cancer. Please pray for him and his medical team as they determine the next steps in his care.
