I’d like to begin by expressing how much I’ve enjoyed this summer. Experiencing summertime in Northern Michigan has given me a clear understanding of why people choose to live, work, vacation, and boat in this beautiful area.
As we enjoy the last half of summer, we’re reminded of how fortunate we are to be part of such a great boating community. The long days and warm nights have brought countless opportunities to explore, relax, and connect with family and friends.

At Irish Boat Shop, I am incredibly proud of our crew’s performance this summer. I've received countless compliments from our customers on how they have gone above and beyond to assist them. Whether it's supporting the Ugotta Regatta, sponsoring the Venetian Festival Aquapalooza party or lending a hand on the docks, our crew has always prioritized providing exceptional service.
As we look towards the coming months, let’s continue to embrace the joy and freedom that boating brings. Thank you for being part of our community, and here’s to more great days on the water.
Sincerely,
Shae B. Cross

The past month has been a busy one for our sales crew. They have been hard at work, and we’re excited to share some highlights. Congratulations to some of our newest boat owners! It’s always great to see the excitement when customers take the helm of their new boats. These photos capture a few of those special moments as our sales crew makes deliveries.
It hard to believe we are here already! For this month's service update, we want to remind you that it's time to start thinking ahead to winter storage for your boats. We have just sent out our winter storage contracts to all our customers. We want to make sure you have plenty of time to secure your spot for the upcoming off-season.
If you have any questions about your winter storage contract or need assistance with the process, please don't hesitate to reach out to our service crew. We’re here to help and make sure your boat is in the best hands during the off-season.

Our summer photo contest is still underway! It runs until Labor Day, and we've received some great submissions so far. We know there's still more summer fun to be had, but don't forget to get your photos in!
As part of the contest will be donating $1 per photo submitted (up to $1,000) to the Little Traverse Sailors and the Lake Charlevoix Mariners, which are both non-profits and longtime educators of sailing for children and adults. Your participation is for a good cause!
The individual who submits the winning photo will also be receiving a $100 and an Irish Boat Shop gift basket!

Say hello to Dillon! He is the service technician at our Traverse City location and we're glad to have him on our crew! Dillon has been with us for 8 years. His main focus this time of year is quality and timely repairs so boats can stay out of the shop on the water. Thanks for all of your hard work Dillon!

Meet MaryJo! She works in our accounts receivable department and has been with us since 2020. MaryJo is also the "green thumb" around the office! So, not only does she keep the accounts in great shape, but she also does the same for our indoor and patio plants. Thanks for being a part of the crew MaryJo, we're glad to have you!

Every year we create a t-shirt with a unique design for the Ugotta Regatta and this year was another success! Hundreds stood in line before the doors even opened, waiting to get their hands on this year's shirt. It's been a long-standing tradition that the t-shirt design stays a "secret" and it's always fun to see the excitement when the shirt is revealed at the start of the sale!
The first in line prize went to two individuals who showed up a little after 5am! They waited nearly three hours and were awarded two complimentary t-shirts and tickets to our regatta summer party.

Our crew had an incredible day at Ferry Beach in Charlevoix, soaking up the sun at the Venetian Festival Aquapalooza. The event was a huge success with thousands attending! As the sponsor of the event, we had the pleasure of engaging with the crowds, tossing out a range of exciting goodies to those relaxing and enjoying the water.

It was great to see the smiles, laughter and excitement as people listened to live music and enjoyed time with family and friends. We’re grateful to be part of such a wonderful event and look forward to being there again next year!
