John L. Schlageter, Executive Director of Bethlehem University Foundation, thanking Maggie for her service said, "You should take great pride in the work you accomplished during your almost four years as Director of Development. The staff, Board of Directors, and most especially the community at Bethlehem University owe you a great debt of gratitude for your ministry at the Foundation."

Maggie has been an invaluable asset to the Foundation's team. When joining the Foundation she brought nearly 40 years of experience in Church ministry, management, and educational administration. Her expertise, caring commitment to Bethlehem University, and unwavering work ethic are unparalleled and will be greatly missed.

Maggie's other accomplishments at the Foundation include planning and executing the two major annual events of the Foundation: the Annual Patrons Reception in New York at the Residence of the Ambassador of the Holy See to the United Nations and the Annual Awards Reception at the Apostolic Nunciature in Washington, DC; developing the Foundation’s Annual Report of Gifts, working with the Board’s Fundraising Committee at their monthly meetings; contributing the the Bethlehem University biennial magazine and arranging for the printing and mailing of the magazine for U.S. and Canadian donors. She has also maintained a professional certification as a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) since 1988.

This year, under Maggie's leadership and direction, Bethlehem University Foundation for the first time received Guidestar's Gold Seal of Transparency.

Reflecting on her time at the Foundation, Maggie said, "It has been my honor and privilege to have served as the Director of Development for the Bethlehem University Foundation. I have a deep admiration for Bethlehem University and their mission to provide quality higher education to the people of the Holy Land. I will continue to pray for my brothers and sisters in the Holy Land and will cherish the many memories, friends, and colleagues I have made during my time here. Before transitioning to a new position I look forward to sitting on my porch swing and spending more time with my grandchildren."
