In town for Stockholm Pride? The photographs Tom took of friends and partners, to use as inspiration and reference-pictures for his world-famous homoerotic drawings, are now exhibited for the first time at Fotografiska.
Mike Ruiz will join as a guest artist. RSVP required by 8th August. Buy tickets early and save!
The contest is open to any artist with the exception of previous winners of this contest, or artists who are already selling erotic work commercially. All others are eligible – anyone who creates erotic works of art.

Jessica Jarl, exhibition producer at Fotografiska, is preparing the exhibition Tom of Finland: The Darkroom, which opens on Friday 31st July .
Tom of Finland’s influence is so vast that it can be hard to calculate. Any time a stylist puts a young pop star in a leather biker cap for a magazine shoot, the impact of Tom of Finland is not far-off.

Queer outfit Homoco has reimagined Tom of Finland in its latest workwear drop, while commemorating the centennial of a queer neoteric proper.
Features interviews with Galerie Judin and Tom of Finland Foundation in honor of #TOMs100, and the recreation of Tom’s first solo show in 1976 that opens later this year in Berlin.
Small businesses are the soul of the city, but many are struggling to survive the pandemic.
