The Fourth Sunday of Lent

Oh, Lord my God, we know through Your Son Jesus of Your compassion, mercy and forgiveness. Give me the grace this day to experience Your mercy in the sacrament of reconciliation. After hearing Jesus offer the woman taken in adultery Your mercy with His words “Go, and from now on, sin no more,” give me the courage to obtain that pouring forth of Your forgiveness in my life this day. I ask for Your mercy at the beginning of each Mass I attend. Help me to profoundly say “Lord, have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy," on me, each day. Amen.
