Thank you to the families who have donated! Please consider making a donation today through Sept. 30!

GOAL: $10,000
RAISED: $6,500
Final FLASH Drive during Car Line Friday | Will Mr. Percoski and Officer Mike Have to Sleep on the Roof?
We'll have a final donation push during car line this Friday from 3:00pm to 3:40pm to reach our goal of $10,000! And guess what happens if we get there? Mr. Percoski, our principal, and Officer Mike will camp out -- on the roof of our school!

If you want to write a check or donate some cash while in car line Friday, just FLASH your headlights! Checks should be made out to FHES PTO.

Flash the Fox, our mascot, will be there to help out for this one-time, final push for our PTO Donation Drive. Don’t forget that checkbook! Make sure to arrive early. We will stop taking donations promptly at 3:40 so that we don’t impact movement of car line.
This is a brand new PTO that needs your generous support! Visit the PTO website for a list of ways the PTO supports FHES through events and activities.

Look for updated class participation totals coming soon on Facebook!
The Library Still Needs your Help, Especially in the Mornings
The library is a great place to volunteer regularly!  Each day, our children check out wonderful new books to take home.
Mrs. Mock, our librarian, needs our help with check out both before school and during the school day, especially during the 8:30-8:45 block.

If you have any questions or comments, email Brianne Davis.
Start with Hello Week at FHES Begins Monday

"Jot It Down!" | September Teacher Treat Was a Hit
FHES faculty and staff started their day off with a treat this past Tuesday with special thanks to coffee and donut bites generously donated by Cappuccino Coffee Shop.

The Teacher Treat committee has been busy behind the scenes to make sure our FHES family knows how appreciated they are! Committee members volunteered to assemble gift bags, put Flash the Fox stickers on coffee cups, hand deliver gift bags, and help with set up and clean up to make this event a success.

Along with the tasty treats, everyone received a Forest Hill Elementary School notepad and pen set with a gift tag that said “Jot it Down! Forest Hill has the best Faculty & Staff in town!”

Thank to you everyone who helped with September teacher treats! If you have questions or would like to help out next time, email Sarah Naffziger.

Foxtail Fling Cancelled | Thank You for Understanding
Unfortunately we had to cancel our Foxtail Fling that was scheduled for tonight.

Despite our best efforts (and P.O. Press’s best efforts), we were unable to find an alternate venue for the event that would meet our budgetary restrictions. P.O. Press and Provision’s having to close suddenly last Friday due to a breakdown in negotiations with their landlord over building repairs was very unfortunate for everyone involved. We’d like to thank them for their hard work and kindness in trying to make our event happen and want to extend our heartfelt thoughts and well wishes to them and all of their employees during this difficult time for their local business.

We will be refunding the ticket prices by the end of the month to everyone who purchased Foxtail Fling tickets. Thank you for your understanding!

If you have questions, email the PTO .
