Don’t forget there is still time to make a donation - the donation drive officially ends Mon., Sept. 30.

School Counseling Classroom Wish List
Our school counselor, Ms. Workman, has shared her list of items she will need in the school counseling classroom. Please consider helping her check these items off her list. 

The Library Still Needs your Help, especially with 1st and 2nd Grades
The library is a great place to volunteer regularly!  Each day, our children check out wonderful new books to take home.  
Mrs. Mock, our librarian, needs our help with check out both before school and during the school day, especially during the 1st and 2nd grade classes.

PTO Membership Drive | Kids Can Win Pizza Party, Extra Recess
There are two chances to win:
  1. The class with the most participation in each grade wins an extra recess.
  2. The class with the most overall participation at the end of this month wins a pizza party!

FHES Arctic Adventure Book Fair with Friends of Foxes Lunch Coming in October
There's Snow Much to Read! Please join us for the FHES Arctic Adventure Book Fair on Thurs., Oct. 10, from 9:15 am - 7:30 pm in the gym!

  • Grandparents + Friends! Join your favorite Fox on Thurs., Oct. 10, for a Friends of Foxes Lunch in the cafeteria during your student's regular lunch time, and then take them to the gym to shop the Book Fair! Adults may shop all day, but students must be accompanied by an adult to shop.


  • Book Character Dress-up Day happening Fri., Oct. 11. Students can dress up like a character from their favorite book! Mrs. Mock, our librarian, has some great prizes to give away.
Want to Help Build up a Classroom Library?
Buy a gift certificate to spend at our Book Fair! Any teacher! Any amount!

  • Mrs. Mock has extra gift certificate forms in the library if yours didn't make it home this week.
  • Be sure to send form and money together in an envelope (or baggie) marked Book Fair.
  • Due by Tues., Oct. 1.
  • If you're paying for multiple teachers, you can write one check and we'll fill out gift certificates for each one.
Pre-sale for the New Diary of the Wimpy Kid and Dog Man
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Wrecking Ball and Dog Man: Fetch-22 pre-sale order forms are due back to Ms. Mock by Oct. 28. Mrs. Mock has extra copies of the flyers if you need one!

Join the Frozen Jr. Production Crew
Are you interested in being a part of our production of Frozen, Jr? The show would not be possible without the help of the crew! We are looking for students in grades 3-8 who are responsible and who can be a member of a team.

Crew positions will be filled by application and teacher recommendations.
