Charity Basketball Game Benefiting West Tennessee Veterans Home
Pouncer the Tiger and Will Coleman - 2019 Slam Dunk Contest winner - both from the University of Memphis Tigers will be joining us. Will you?
Forest Hill Elementary will be hosting a Charity Basketball Game with all proceeds benefiting the West Tennessee Veterans Home.

The event will take place on Thurs., Nov. 21 from 6-8:00 pm in the FHES gym. Tickets will be $5 (cash only) at the door, and concessions will be available to purchase (cash only).    

Check out some fun events you don't want to miss!
  • Basketball game featuring GMSD students, teachers, local celebrities, and basketball players.
  • Surprise appearances from several Memphis basketball legends.
  • Meet Pouncer from the Memphis Tigers.
  • Halftime 3-point and slam dunk contests.
  • Hot wing eating contest courtesy of "Let it Fly” - winner gets a free hour of play in the "Full Swing” golf simulator.
  • Giving away 8 tickets to a Memphis Tigers basketball game this season.
  • Guest appearances by Pouncer and Will Coleman from the Memphis Tigers!

All of our Forest Hill Elementary Families are invited to a free Pancake Party!

Join us for delicious pancakes sponsored by STAKS! Bring your little Foxes and your appetite to the Forest Hill Elementary cafeteria on Sat., Dec. 14 from 7:30-10:30 am.

  • We will have face painting, snowflake art, and MORE.
  • Kona Ice will also have hot chocolate and hot apple cider for sale. 
  • Make sure to bring your camera for winter pictures with our mascot Flash the Fox!

December Teacher Treats Gift Cards Needed

You're Invited to the Houston High School Basketball Game
The Houston High School basketball team has invited ALL Forest Hill Elementary AND Dogwood Elementary students to watch the opening game this Mon., Nov. 18 at 6:00 (girls) and 7:30 (boys). 

Students need to wear the gray wristband (distributed in their classrooms) for free admission into the games. Accompanying adults must pay the regular $5 admission fee.

Save the Date! Mother - Son Event in January
Calling all “BOY MOMS”! Our FHES inaugural Mother - Son event has been scheduled! 

Please join us on Fri., Jan. 24, 2020, at the Yard in Arlington for some fun games, laser tag, Nerf wars and more! Watch the newsletter for more information as we get closer to the date.
