Calling All Room Parents!
Being a Room Parent is a great way to be part of your child’s fun! We’re looking for volunteers to help our teachers, plan celebrations, and communicate with parents.

Please sign up on the Room Parent Volunteer form in your child’s classroom on their Curriculum Night!
It's Check-Out Time in our Library | Request for Volunteers
Thanks so much for volunteering in our wonderful library!  In just two weeks, all inventory was successfully scanned. We couldn’t have done it without your help!

Now comes the fun part! Starting this week, our children will be able to check out books to take home. Mrs. Mock needs help with grades K-3, so please sign up to come assist the little ones with open check out.

If there is extra time, she may also have us stamping books with our FHES Library stamps. Many hands make little work!

Stay tuned for many more opportunities to help out this year.
"Teacher Treats" Due Monday | Thank you for your help!
Thank you, Forest Hill families, for your excellent response signing up for the Teacher Treat items PTO requested in last Sunday’s Foxes' Den!

We have received a lot of them this week, but if you have not brought/sent in your items labeled “Teacher Treats” to Ms. Connie Thacker at the front desk, please send them in tomorrow morning (which is when they are due).

A handful of Teacher Treat committee members will be assembling and delivering “Room Service” treat bags for all faculty and staff this week.

Thank you for making this first round of teacher treats a success! We will continue to send sign ups by way of the Foxes' Den with more opportunities for you to show your appreciation to our FHES faculty and staff. Simply donating needed items helps make the things we have planned for our faculty and staff this year a success.

Does Your Student Have a Flash the Fox Backpack Clip?
We hope your little foxes are settling into their academic routine at our new and beautiful school!

Thanks to the generosity of several local businesses, each of our incoming students were given a Fox backpack clip along with some great coupons from our sponsors.

If your child hasn't received one, please email the FHES PTO  with your  child’s name, teacher and grade.  We want to be sure each Forest Hill Fox has one of their very own!

Learn More about Cub Scouts
In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best-right-now selves and grow into their very-best-future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

Forest Hill Families are invited to come to school on Thurs., Aug. 29 at 6:30 pm to learn about Scouting and meet some local Cub Scout Packs.

Kindergartners and up are eligible.
