Grandparents' Night at FHES
Grab your grandparents (or someone special) this Tuesday and join us for a free event! The fun begins at 6:00 and will end at 7:30.
Our FHES Grandparents' Night t-shirts are in! Be sure to tell grandparents to stop by the cafeteria Tuesday night when they arrive to pick up their shirts while supplies last!

Foxtail Fling FAQs:
Who is invited to Foxtail Fling?
Foxtail Fling is an adult only event (over 21) open to anyone who wants to support Forest Hill Elementary and have a good time!
How/When do I get my tickets?
Once you purchase your tickets through A to Z connect, your name will be added to the guest list along with your silent auction number. When you arrive at P.O. Press Public House & Provisions, you will be given a wristband with your auction number on it to wear for the evening.
What should I wear to Foxtail Fling?
The attire for the event is dressy casual.

PTO Membership Update and Pizza Party Contest Ending Sept. 30
Don’t forget to join the PTO! When you join, our students, faculty, and staff benefit in so many ways.

And guess what? The class with the most overall participation at the end of this month wins a pizza party! The membership contest runs through Sept. 30 so sign up today!

GMSD & Community News
Houston High School College and Career Readiness Fair Sept. 19
HHS is home to over 1,900 students. We need your help in connecting them to different, local career pathways.  

HHS is hosting its first ever College and Career Readiness Fair for students.  

Traditionally, the school has invited in local colleges but is opening the door to include local businesses as well.  Come be a part of the inaugural year!

We are seeking people in various career paths:
  • Medical
  • Military
  • Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice
  • Manufacturing
  • STEM
  • Cybersecurity
  • Nutrition
  • Finance/Accounting
  • Marketing/Communications
  • Fine Arts/Television Media
  • Graphic Design/Visual Arts
  • AgroSciences
  • Local Entrepreneurs
  • Information Technology
  • Mental Health/Counseling

We are hoping to have multiple representatives from each pathway listed above. HHS will supply your business with a 4-foot section of table top or larger floor space if desired.

We are also offering affordable sponsorship opportunities ranging from $600 to $2,000 which will include naming rights for the Career Pathway Banners and Student Swag Bags. Or, if your organization is willing to supply bags please let us know.
