We're Here to Serve You.
Dear Members,

While it's understandable that many things feel unstable or unpredictable during these times, we wanted to reassure you that your credit union is safe, sound, and ready to serve you however we can. Although we do not have an official open date for in-person branch transactions to resume, we can still accommodate any borrowing, savings, or account-related need that arises during this time.

Once our branches resume operations as "normal," we ask that you bear with us as we make adjustments to ensure member and employee safety. These changes include limiting the number of people in the lobbies, continuing to encourage drive-thru transactions as often as possible, and the request that you consider using the ATM for cash withdrawals. If necessary, you may call us to temporarily increase your debit card limit to avoid withdrawing a large sum of cash.

We continue to see stimulus checks and deposits arriving; should you receive one and need to deposit it, our night deposits are available and opened twice daily.

From all of us here at Freedom 1st, we wish you and your families continued health and safety, and greatly appreciate your flexibility as we navigate the many changes prompted by COVID-19. If you have any concerns, please call us at (937) 223-2828 or email [email protected] .
Save Money With an Auto Loan Refinance
In these times of uncertainty, it never hurts to look for easy ways to find extra savings. Your credit union is committed to providing just that!

One quick and convenient way to save money is to refinance an auto loan with another lender to your credit union.
Rev Up the Savings - Man in car with dog
Making the switch can reduce the amount you pay in interest and lower your monthly payment significantly, depending on what you're currently paying with another lender. Our rates have recently been dropped to as low as 2.79% APR. * Plus, we can get your auto loan moved over to Freedom 1 st in as little as 1 business day!

What's the word on the street? Here's what some of our members have said about the process:

  • "We purchased a Laredo with financing from Freedom 1st, and the process was smooth and you cannot beat the rates!" - Jennifer
  • "We love Freedom 1st! Great people, experiences, and you can't beat the loan rates!" - Jaclyn
  • "Fantastic place to do business with! The rates are unbeatable and so is their loan process. I've lost count on how many loans we have done together, they make it too easy!" - Kurt

See how much you can start saving, just by moving the car loan that you already have!   Apply online today   or call (937) 223-2828 for more information.
Hands forming heart
Together, We'll CU Through It
While you take care of your family, we'll help take care of you.
The progression of the COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of unknowns - not just from a health and safety standpoint, but from an economic one as well.
If you have already seen your financial situation impacted or anticipate it will be soon, know that we're here to work with you and help in whatever way we can as the unexpected unfolds. You can currently take advantage of the following:

  • Hardship Skip-A-Pay for qualified loans with due dates of March 1, 2020 or later. Members can skip two months loan payment without paying the standard fees typically assessed for Skip-A-Pays. The credit union reserves the right to extend this assistance to 90 days depending on the length of economic uncertainty. Click here to submit the application.
  • Emergency Loans. We've cut the rate on our personal loan to create an emergency loan offering. This allows members to borrow up to $2,500 for a maximum term of 18-months at a rate of 5.99% APR.** If you are interested in taking advantage of this product, apply online today.

We hope you'll  reach out to your credit union family  if you've been impacted by COVID-19 to see how we can support you now and in the future.
Upcoming Holiday Closures
Please note that the credit union will be closed for business on Monday, May 25, 2020 for Memorial Day. Online and mobile convenience services will remain available for your convenience, as well as ATM access for cash withdrawals. We look forward to serving you during standard business hours on Tuesday, May 26.
Sign reading, "Sorry we're closed but still awesome."
Thank You for Your Support

We want to extend a special “thank you!” to all the members who donated hats and gloves at our branches this winter. The final tally was at 120 sets of hats/gloves donated to local elementary schools. As a reminder, we regularly run charitable giving initiatives at our branches – stay tuned for future opportunities to support our local communities. Thank you again for helping us help those in need!
Annual Meeting Recap

Thank you to all members who attended yet another successful annual meeting. Board members James Shute and Rev. Stephen Veg were re-elected. Additionally, the credit union gave out several Amazon gift cards to those in attendance. Thanks to all who voted and came out – we’ll see you next year!
