Tis the Season of Giving! The most wonderful time of the year. We've had so many opportunities to work with and connect with so many people this year and we are incredibly grateful. Looking back, St. Pete Youth Farm has grown into itself in ways unimaginable and we're lucky the community has embraced us on this journey.
We celebrated the last day of Fall programming for our Youth Ambassadors last week. We enjoyed time together, ate lots of food, and opened presents. But we also made a point of acknowledging that all that we were enjoying and celebrating was made possible by people who care. Thanks to The Kind Mouse Productions for the donation of gifts to our youth and The Unitarian Universalist Church of St. Pete for their donation of treats and desserts to us. And a big thank you to one of our volunteers who gave each of our Ambassadors a holiday card with $200 cash inside! It's amazing to have people see the value of investing in our youth.

Now there’s so much to look forward to as we approach the new year! We’ll be continuing our monthly community workdays (check out the upcoming dates below) and offering more regular volunteer days. We’re most excited about working with Jabari Reed (iBOMS) again to bring the PSTA bus mural to a more permanent home on the farm. We’ll be expanding the mural to be painted on the wall facing the farm. All Ambassadors who were not represented in the initial mural before joining us have worked on their characters to be added.
