Wrapping Up Delco Gives

What an incredible week for Senior Community Services!

This week, we came together at the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge to celebrate Older Americans’ Month and kick off Delco Gives 2026 with a walk full of friendship, laughter, and community spirit.

From longtime supporters to first-time donors, every person who participated helped make a difference for older adults across Delaware County.

Thanks to your generosity, SCS raised over $26,805 from more than 141 donors during Delco Gives! We're happy to report this total includes our $10,000 match from our generous board member! Every gift, large or small, helps us continue supporting older adults through programs and services that promote healthy, connected, and independent living.

To everyone who walked, donated, shared our posts, and cheered us on - thank you for making this campaign such a success.

Aging at Home Day of Service

A huge thank you to Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union and the Project W volunteers for lending a helping hand to our Aging at Home members this week!

Volunteers spent the day assisting with yardwork projects, helping older adults maintain safe and welcoming outdoor spaces while making meaningful community connections along the way. We are so grateful for their time, energy, and kindness.

We're still smiling after last week’s Senior Expo!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with staff, learn about programs, and spend time with our community. We loved seeing so many familiar faces and meeting new friends along the way. Be sure to check out these photos of our Good Neighbor members (and their sunshine nametags).

Our 2026 Membership Drive is ongoing, and we invite you to renew or join at any time. Your senior center membership helps sustain the programs, activities, and welcoming spaces that make Senior Community Services such an important part of our community.

Membership supports enriching programs, health and wellness opportunities, and meaningful social connections, and it even makes a thoughtful gift for a friend or loved one.
