Greetings from Dr. G
The halls were merry and bright this week as faculty and students prepared for Christmas showing Christ's love in various outreaches and activities. It's heartwarming to be a part of this school family.
On behalf of the faculty, THANK you to the HSA for your generous gifts. We appreciate the many ways in which you make us feel special during the year. I am also grateful to all families for your Christmas gifts and wishes. It is a joy to watch your children BLOOM throughout the year.
I am delighted to report that as of today one third of current families are registered for 2023-2024 school year! It is my most sincere hope that all current families will continue your children's learning journey at St. Rose School. You are our top priority! There will be a reduced registration fee between now and January 22nd. Given the strong interest we have received from prospective families, it is important to reserve your spot now. After January 22nd registration will be open to the public. Questions? Email Mrs. Mok, admissions@srles.com.
It's too bad that we could not gather for our school Christmas Mass this morning but I am glad that everyone could stay safe at home during the storm. Perhaps God wanted us all to have an extra day of rest -- His gift to all of us!
In closing, I would like to thank Monsignor Bob for his daily love and support, he truly is an angel to St. Rose School. I am also very grateful to our dedicated staff who give 100 plus percent every day. And, I ask God's blessings on each and every one of you. May peace, joy, health and light be your gifts at Christmas and throughout the New Year. Enjoy your time with family and friends. If you are travelling, I wish you safe journey.
We look forward to seeing students back in our halls on Tuesday January 3rd. It will be an exciting month as we anticipate Open House and Catholic Schools Week with activities and celebrations in honor of our wonderful school and the people who make it so special.
God Bless,
Dr. Bardhyl Gjoka
