Chief Judge's New Court Order

A new General Administrative Order from the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County reaffirms that people can attend court safely and without fear of being arrested for unrelated civil matters. This protection helps ensure that residents can take part in court proceedings freely and without intimidation. Learn more below.

Second Chance Summit Wrap-Up

Our office is thrilled to share an uplifting update from last month's Second Chance Summit, held on October 11, at Proviso Math and Science Academy. This vital event welcomed 271 individuals, each taking a courageous step toward a brighter future. Through the collaborative efforts of our dedicated team and community partners, over 170 petitions were filed. This remarkable achievement means hundreds of people now have the opportunity to transform their lives, opening doors to new possibilities and hope.

Mental Health Summit Wrap-Up

We are committed to breaking stigmas around mental health and ensuring families have access to the resources they need. At our Mental Health Summit in Bridgeview with Judge John A. Fairman, service providers, judges, and attorneys came together to share information and answer questions, strengthening support across our communities. Domestic Violence Awareness

Month Rally

Incredibly proud to stand with The Network - Advocating Against Domestic Violence and many local partners at this year’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month Rally. Together, we are raising awareness and showing survivors that they are not alone. The Circuit Court of Cook County remains committed to providing resources, access, and justice for survivors through our dedicated Domestic Violence Division and support services across the county.

Illinois Association of County Clerks

Our Intergovernmental Officer, Delio Calzolari, was recently joined by Seth Floyd, the Piatt County Clerk and President of the Illinois Association of County Clerks (IACC). The two met during the 2025 IACC Annual Conference, held October 1 to October 3, 2025, at the President Abraham Lincoln Hilton Hotel in Springfield, IL.

Domestic Violence Walk & Resource Fair

To honor survivors and raise awareness during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we took part in the Domestic Violence Awareness Walk hosted by the Cook County State's Attorney, Chicago Police Department and other organization who want to break the cycle of violence with urgency and sensitivity. We walked for 20 minutes symbolizing the 20 people per minute who are victims of physical violence by an intimate partner in the U.S.

Call: The public can receive help on filings and court matters by contacting the Clerk's Call Center at (312) 603-5030, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.


WebChat: The Clerk's website now has a customer service WebChat. Users can reach our Call Center Clerks for general questions or assistance anywhere on the site. The WebChat box is located at the footer of every page. Service is available Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
