A MESSAGE FROM
MARIYANA T. SPYROPOULOS
Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County
| | |
March 2026
Dear Community Partners,
As we enter March and have winter in our rear view mirrors, we look forward to longer days of sunlight and a sense of new beginnings.
Last month, I released our End of Year Impact Report to mark my first year in office and continued to show my dedication to the
citizens of Cook County by launching e-Citation.
The office celebrated Lunar New Year and Black History Month, an opportunity to learn about diverse cultures that represent the residents of Cook County.
Thank you for your continued support.

Our 2025 Annual Report is now live!
This report reflects a year of focused work to strengthen transparency, improve access to services, and modernize operations across the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
In 2025, we expanded digital initiatives, increased community outreach, enhanced language access, and brought key reporting fully up to date. Every step was centered on making our office more responsive and accessible to the residents we serve.

We’re continuing to expand e-Citation across Cook County.
New municipalities have been added, giving more residents the ability to access their citation information faster and pay online without unnecessary delays.
Find out if your municipality is now live. More are on the way.
| | Remembering Rev. Jesse Jackson | | |
We join communities across the nation in honoring the life and legacy of Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr., a steadfast advocate for civil rights, equal opportunity, and dignity for all. Through a lifetime of public service, faith leadership, and civic engagement, he helped advance meaningful progress and inspired generations to pursue justice and unity.
As we reflect on his enduring impact, we remain committed to the values he championed and to continuing to serve Cook County residents with fairness, compassion, and respect.

So special to celebrate the Lunar New Year recently with President Toni Preckwinkle, Josina Morita, Cook County Commissioner, 13th District, alongside so many other leaders and community members.
From the lion dancers to the lucky red envelopes, it was a joyful celebration of culture, tradition, and new beginnings. Wishing everyone a happy and prosperous Year of the Horse.

Honored to join fellow officials at the Cook County building to honor Black History Month, celebrating Black communities' history, culture, and contributions. Young musicians and dancers performed, reminding us to uplift the next generation.
Our office also held a reception honoring Black History Month. We want to extend our thanks to emcee Audrina Sinclair, the CCC Choir, and Zion Ali for enriching the event. We recognized Hon. Timothy Evans, Congressman Danny K. Davis, Hon. John Fairman, Toi Salter, Danny Barrow, and Janice Moore for their community leadership. Special thanks to our African American Employee Committee for their dedicated planning.
