April 2026
Dear Community Partners,
April is the arrival of spring, a season that brings life into our world with its vibrant beauty, colors, and the promise of new beginnings. It's a time that lifts our spirits, inviting us to go outside and enjoy all that nature has to offer.
As we enter this amazing season, let's take a moment to appreciate all the changes happening around us. Whether it's simply watching a baseball game, taking a walk in the park, or just soaking up the pleasant weather, spring offers endless opportunities to connect with both our community and the environment. Let's welcome this season with open arms, finding joy and renewal in the simple pleasures it brings.
Thank you for your continued support.

Our courts play a vital role in protecting constitutional rights and ensuring fairness through process, independence, and access to justice for all.
I recently shared my perspective in the Chicago Tribune on why the judiciary remains a stabilizing force, especially at a time when trust in public institutions matters more than ever, and how the work happening in Cook County helps strengthen transparency, accessibility, and due process.
