Charter Member Recruitment Progress

I'm pleased to report that Fulcrum has recruited 35 Charter Members to date. There have been 108 informational meetings with nonprofit leaders leading to an equal number of invitations. There are another 20 meetings on calendar. I've reached out to a total of 194 contacts with another 30 or so contacts scheduled to receive my outreach in the next few weeks. I'm encouraged by the response and learn a great deal from every call. The goal of reaching 200+ Charter Members by the end of June remains a top priority alongside the goal of building out the member experience, which includes the activation of Charter Members with Core Groups, the small peer groups we are calling "Fulcrum 20s".

The Role of The CEO In Nonprofit Fundraising

Congratulations to Fulcrum Charter Member Nicole Suydam, President and CEO of Goodwill of Orange County, on the publication in Forbes of her most recent leadership article entitled, "The Role of the CEO in Nonprofit Fundraising." In the article, Nicole does a masterful job in identifying the critical role CEO's should play in supporting the fundraising enterprise within their organization. Priorities include building the culture of philanthropy, assuming the role of major gift officer, and much more. You can access the full article using the button below.

Charter Member Next Steps and Reminders

Here are a few key next steps and reminders for Charter Members.

  1. Register and apply if you have not yet completed that step. Visit www.fulcrumleader.com/register/. You will be asked to set up your account and complete the application. As a Charter Member, you do not need to complete the references section. We appreciate the answers to the other questions as we will use that information to identify proper Core Group placement.
  2. Format your own personal profile page with the images and the biographical information you desire to share. This step can be completed after you register/apply.
  3. Follow Fulcrum Nonprofit Leadership on LinkedIn. The more followers we can gain, the easier it will be to reach the broader nonprofit world with our thought leadership.
  4. Please share any referrals with nonprofit executives in your network that you believe are appropriate to consider as potential Charter Members. Fulcrum is committed to launching publicly in July with 200 or more Charter Members and we can use your help to assure Fulcrum of exceeding that target. Please email Chris @ Chris@fulcrumleader.com with recommendations.
  5. By the end of April, I will be sending each of you a member agreement to sign and it will be then that you will have the opportunity to elect to receive equity in Fulcrum or a lifetime of free membership.

If you would like help with any of these items, please don't hesitate to contact Mansi Chokshi at mansi@fulcrumleader.com. Mansi will be happy to walk you through any of these steps.

We love hearing from you.
