Program Spotlight

FunTeam Alberta's SPIRIT Hockey Jersey

The SPIRIT Jersey Program was created to promote the foundational principles and values that the organization was built upon with its participants. It is important for FunTeam Alberta to distinguish our programming by elevating the attributes that separate us and make our membership so special.

Why "SPIRIT"?

FunTeam Alberta measures qualities far beyond any performance that is calculated on a score sheet. It is an athlete's FunTeam SPIRIT that will truly define what a winner is in our organization and we want to celebrate them for being positivie role models to the rest of their FunTeam community.

Congratulations to Megan Kastrukoff and Alisha Doell!

Another month has passed and we have some volunteers to celebrate! Congratulations to both of these amazing women for being such important members to their community and this organization.

"By not keeping score, young players are able to just focus on playing the game and developing their skills, not worrying about the outcome of the game. In a game where winning is everything, 50% of players are unsuccessful. FunTeam’s goal is 100% success!"

FunTeam Alberta President Randy Gregg

FunTeam Alberta Interview Series: Beaumont FunTeam Shinny Hockey

Beaumont FunTeam Shinny Hockey

Beaumont FunTeam Shinny Hockey has been playing outdoors since the program's inception. Weather permitting, they play every Saturday and keep things focused on having fun and learning the basics of hockey.

We had the pleasure to chat with Group Manager, Tom Kryzanowski about why FunTeam in Beaumont is so special to those who join. Click on the thumbnail to watch!
