Weekly Future of Our Block Updates | May 5, 2025

Dear saints,

I am delighted to be able now to share with you the campus master plan for the future of the church on our city block:

A Campus Master Plan for All Saints’ Church

You may also access the recorded presentation of the master plan made yesterday in Ellis Hall, here:

Campus Master Plan Presentation in Ellis Hall

This master plan is the fruit of many years of labor and represents an extraordinary level of commitment from a wide array of parishioners, including each of you who participated in this discernment process. The result is a thoughtful and faithful vision for our future.

There is plenty to digest and reflect on in the master plan. As you read and watch, I invite you to ask how this vision for All Saints' aligns with your hopes for our church for the years to come. The vestry would love to hear from you. You are welcome, as always, to reach out to me directly, and you are welcome to reach to one of our newly elected wardens, Kate Stradtman (Senior Warden) and Ross Nicholas (Junior Warden). For a more informal chat, please do find any vestry member you might see at church on a Sunday morning. Each will be wearing a red name badge with ‘Vestry' on it.

This coming Sunday, Bishop Wright will be joining me in a conversation about the future of the church in a forum in Ellis Hall between the 9:00 and 11:15 services. He will have our newly minted master plan in hand, and we will be able to benefit from his wider perspective of how the church at large is preparing for the future. I do hope that you will be able to join us in person or online.

In all things, let us remember that the future of the church, here and in all places, belongs to God. We have a vision that sees vitality for All Saints' for the decades to come. As we walk forward into that future, we do so knowing that the One who is faithful will be our companion and our guide.
