Celebrating Fathers Day with some new Fathers of our own...
Summer Greetings to All!
What better day than Fathers Day to celebrate the fruit of our efforts here at Saint John's Seminary -- new (and soon-to-be) Fathers?
The ordination season is drawing to a close, and, by the end of it, 19 men will have been ordained to the holy priesthood and 13 more to the transitional diaconate. Additionally, 22 lay students graduated from our Theological Institute in May.
Soon-to-be Fathers John Gancarz (left, Archdiocese of Hartford) and Vijaya Sagar Gundiga (right, Diocese of Worcester) will both be ordained on Saturday, June 22, 2019.

Soon-to-be Deacon Benjamin "Mac" Lingo has finished his studies at Saint John's Seminary and has returned to the Diocese of Oakland, CA for a Deacon year before being ordained in 2020, God willing. He will be ordained to the Transitional Diaconate on Saturday, August 3 at St. Joseph Mission Church in Fremont, CA.

Please continue to pray for these men and women as they begin the next chapters in their faith-filled lives. Pray not only for them but also for those before and after them. And please be assured that we continue to pray for you each day. Without our benefactors and friends, none of this good work would be possible. We thank you for your financial support, your wisdom and guidance, and most of all for your prayers.
