Cleaning up: Next Steps
We know you and the Groton community share our concerns about the extensive storm damage on the Red Line Path, the Gamlin property and some other properties in that section of town. We are working closely with the Groton Trails committee, the town and landscape professionals to assess and review the damage and plan next steps.

In the meantime we request that you avoid these areas, as some trees currently present potential safety risk and virtually all trails are not passable. We would ask that people avoid attempting any "one off" efforts to clear trails or chain saw trees on our property.

We thank you for your offers of help and concern and we will be organizing efforts in future days and weeks to enable volunteers to assist us, in an organized and safe fashion. For now, we will be closing sections of these trails in coming days until crews can address dangerous snags and hanging trees. We will provide opportunities for you to assist our efforts as we move forward. Contact us below to become part of our mailing list of volunteers.
