HOUSTON DOWNTOWN MANAGEMENT DISTRICT
1313 MAIN STREET STANDBY GENERATOR
The Houston Downtown Management District (the “Downtown District”) will receive sealed bids for the 1313 Main Street Standby Generator Project, located in Downtown Houston, Texas. Bids will be received until 11:00 AM, local time on Thursday, September 17, 2020 by the Director of Construction, Downtown District. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids are to be delivered to 1313 Main Street Houston, Texas 77002.
Beginning Tuesday, at 9:00am on August 18, 2020, Bid Documents will be available at www.civcastusa.com. Any Addenda will be distributed through www.civcastusa.com. Bid Documents may also be viewed online at isqft.com.
An ONLINE MANDATORY Pre-bid Conference will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. All bidders (general contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers) are invited to attend.
Due to COVID-19 and the District’s work safe protocol, all potential bidders who intend to participate in the pre-bid conference and submit bids are required to register their intention by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2020 by email to Brett DeBord, Director of Construction at [email protected]. Potential bidders are to provide Company Name, Address, and Phone plus (two maximum) Representative Names & Titles, Representative Emails, and Cell Phones. All bidders who register in advance of the pre-bid conference will receive a calendar invitation providing access to the online meeting venue. Bids will be ruled non-responsive if received from an individual who did not attend the pre-bid conference.
Bidders shall comply with City Ordinance 95-336 (March 29, 1995) and Exec. Order No.1‑2 (June 14, 1995), and City of Houston Affirmative Action and Contract Compliance Division Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Procedures (June 1995). The successful Bidder will be required to make good faith efforts to achieve an M/W/DBE participation goal of 20 percent.
Beginning August 13, 2020, the District’s procurement for the general contract for this project is advertised in the Houston Business Journal, the Houston Defender, the Southern Chinese Daily News, and the Greater Houston Business Procurement Forum.

The Austin Gilbane JV project is a part of the Mickey Leland International Terminal and is focused on the Houston Airport System International Terminal Redevelopment Program (ITRP), a $307M investment that includes an International Pier Terminal and the Renovation of the existing Terminal D.
