Campus Event

Bear Necessities Second annual Resource Fair 11am – 2pm this Thursday, April 11th in the UC Atrium and will feature snacks, coffee, BINGO, prizes, and 20 different on- and off-campus organizations whose purpose is to provide resources and support for folks experiencing hardship or basic needs insecurity. The goal for this event is that students come to understand that no matter what they’re going through, there is almost definitely someone in our community whose job it is to help people through it; they don’t have to do it alone.

Clash of the Clubs: (or club immersion night) is happening THIS Wednesday at 6:00 pm in Eck Hall, room 202. Clash of the Clubs is a global game night, filled with socializing, trivia/other games, and international snacks brought to you by the Franke Global Leadership Initiative and the International Development Studies Club.

2025-2026 US Fulbright Student Competition is now open!

Want to teach, go to graduate school, conduct research, or undertake a creative project in a foreign country? You can with a Fulbright!  Open to graduating seniors, graduate students, and post-graduates, the Fulbright Student program funds work and study in countries around the world.

Thursday, April 11, 12:00-1:15 pm: In this info session, you will learn the basics of the Fulbright application and how to get support through the University of Montana.

The NBR Summer Seminar 2024: The China Challenge is an intensive, interdisciplinary eight-week seminar (June 17 to August 9, 2024) at NBR’s Seattle office. The program is open to current students and professionals interested in issues of strategic importance to the United States in Asia.

Participants spend a summer in-person at NBR’s Seattle office participating in roundtable discussions featuring high-level speakers from NBR’s network of experts, attending regional site visits to consulates, policy hubs, and military bases, joining relevant NBR events, and having the opportunity to present their research to NBR staff and select guests from the policy, academic, and business communities.
