Scholarship Info Sesh

Studying abroad is a life-changing experience! The Gilman Scholarship Program provides awards of up to $5,000 for students receiving Pell Grants, and students of active-duty military families, to study or intern abroad!


This info session will review the basics of the scholarship, how to prepare an application, and tips to make your application shine! You'll also meet UM staff who can support you through the application process.

Residency in MT


Status as a high school senior, adult refugee, Native American, or currently enrolled students of any classification


A completed FAFSA


US citizenship or permanent residency status


Accepted at or attending a 4-year college as a full-time student


Major in or demonstrate an interest in pursuing STEM-related science, education, accounting, or journalism.
