Mansfield Dialogue

Please join us for a Mansfield Dialogue about the critical issue of U.S.-Korea relations. We will be joined by Dr. Steven Capener, a recipient of the 2024 UM Distinguished Alumni Award, to talk about US-Korea Relations as well as representative from the Korean Consulate.

Dr. Capener earned two doctorates in S. Korea and works today as a tenured professor at Seoul Women’s University where he teaches literature and works on Korean English literary translation. The Mansfield Center invites you to not only learn more about UM’s relationship with S. Korea and what that means for U.S. national security and our global relations, but also to hear the unique story of a Montanan who was able to build a life and a career in Korea.  This event is brought on in partnership with Montana Model United Nations and will include a free lunch!

We look forward to you joining us for this exciting event and if you know anyone who is interested please share this event with them. It is open to all, and we respectfully request that you RSVP through the link below by noon on October 7.
