We Are Looking for a Social Media Intern! | |
Interested in social media? Want to contribute significantly to GLI's social media platforms, including Instagram? Looking for an internship? Consider applying for our Franke GLI social media internship! This internship runs for the 2025-2026 academic year, but fall-only applications will be considered. You can take the internship for variable credits, depending on your schedule, and you can use it for your GLI Beyond the Classroom Experience.
To apply, please submit a brief cover letter stating your interest and a short resume with 1 reference to gli@umontana.edu by April 4.

Capstone Feature: MT A.R.I.S.E. | |

Montana Assault Resource Index, Storytelling, and Education (MT A.R.I.S.E.) is a resource-focused project created by Global Leadership Initiative (GLI) capstone students Kate Bick, Olivia Donohue, Emma Hixson, and Cana Odegaard. Aiming to raise awareness about sexual violence against sexual and gender minorities, MT A.R.I.S.E. seeks to share resources, foster community, and start conversations about LGBTQ+ sexual violence.
We are looking for students aged 18 to 26 to share their experiences through our eight-episode podcast series. This series will feature student stories alongside interviews with medical professionals, mental health providers, legal professionals, law enforcement, and representatives from community and campus resource centers in the greater Missoula area.

Kless Applications are Open for Spring 2025! | |
We have around $20k in grants and $400k in loans available for your sustainability project on campus. Projects should focus on energy and/or resource savings or sustainability education. Past projects include water bottle fillers, solar-powered batteries, compost pilot programs, LED lighting, and more. The deadline is Friday, March 14th. The application process is pretty easy, and I'm happy to walk you through it! | |
UMCUR is Two Months Away! | |

The UM Conference on Undergraduate Research (UMCUR) is just two months away on Friday, April 25!
There are two invited action items for UM community members: 1) respond to a call for conference volunteers and 2) RSVP to lunch and/or dinner events. Please keep reading for more information!
On conference day, Friday, April 25, UMCUR needs many volunteers to serve as Greeters, Session Moderators, Presentation/Performance Reviewers (formerly “judges”; read about the revised award’s process), Poster Session Guides, Food and Drink Monitors, and As-needed Support Crew. Please complete the Volunteer Interest Form.
by March 31; earlier expressions of interest are greatly appreciated. Students, staff, and faculty members are all encouraged to volunteer. Please sign up and spread the word!
Consider attending two special UMCUR programming events on Friday, April 25: a lunch performance and discussion with State of Mind performers/facilitators and a dinner and film screening and discussion with two co-directors of the award-winning documentary film Bring Them Home. It is a survey of French film and filmmaking. The French majors and minors who take it will have to do a certain amount of reading and writing in French.
