From the Desk of Darrel Burnett
Executive Director
I just learned with more than a little astonishment that Americans are expected to spend nearly $28 billion on Valentine’s Day in 2022 including more than $2 billion on candy. I don’t know where all that candy is going but I suspect straight to waistlines from here to shining seas. I hope you find it refreshing to know that we are giving you something very sweet this February without any calories attached….a fresh new look for the Gallery Times!
Now that we are in our 7th year, we thought it was time to figuratively send the Gallery Times to the spa for a jet bath, steam, massage, and seaweed wrap. Our beloved newsletter came back all refreshed and looking years younger! Beginning this month, you will see more photos, more friendly faces, more peaks behind the scenes and, hopefully, more of everything that you want in your newsletter. As I like to say, we’re in the business of handing out smiles and we’re counting on the Gallery Times to put one on your face this month and for many years to come.
Since February is all about romance and affairs of the heart, could there be a more perfect time to feature America’s Italian Stallion, the De Tamaso Pantera? Handsome, strong, and mysterious, this male model literally has a License to Thrill.

Pit Crew Member
of the Month: Bruce Sengbusch
To suggest that our Pit Crew Member of the Month Bruce Sengbusch has “seen it all” at The Automobile Gallery & Event Center isn’t an understatement. As a friend of our Founder William “Red” Lewis, Bruce was here long before we opened our doors seven years ago. He takes immense pride in thinking back to a time when plywood and construction dust occupied the pristine space now reserved for millions of dollars of Gallery automobiles. Soft spoken and always wearing a smile, Bruce says in typical understated fashion, “We have come so far and I’m just happy to be a part of it.”
Bruce pitched in to help back in the day and never stopped. He can be seen on the scene helping set up for special events and working with fellow Pit Crew members each week keeping our collection detailed to the max for our visitors from around the world.
Bruce takes particular pride in our new Pavilion which opened in July of 2021. The Pavilion is where you will see the fully restored Willys Army Jeep that Bruce and his brother Keith donated in honor of their brother, Command Sergeant Major Brian Sengbusch. Please pay us a visit and read the incredible story of a true American hero!
Bruce and his wife Teri reside in Green Bay when they aren’t touring this great country of ours in their motor home.

Congratulations Gallery Intern
Tony Giordana!
Education is a key component of our mission at The Automobile Gallery & Event Center and we are proud of our interns and their accomplishments. This month we’re proud to congratulate our great intern Tony Giordana who was named to the Dean’s List at St. Norbert College for the fall semester in 2021. This is the 2nd consecutive semester that Tony has earned his placement on the Dean’s List as he pursues a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies.
Tony is preparing for a career in Sports Broadcasting and has already gained valuable experience behind the mic and in the press box for multiple St. Norbert Athletics events, and for the Green Bay Rockers baseball team. He also has a love of cars, with a specific interest in vehicles from the mid-’50s to mid-’70s. Tony '
lists Ford Mustangs from the 1960s as his favorites. Tony has been with The Automobile Gallery since May of 2021 and will conclude his internship in late March of 2022.
The Automobile Gallery & Event Center is proud to count Tony among our family and congratulate him for his accomplishments to date and those that await him in the broadcast booth!
