Room Selection 2024-2025
Application and deposit period, Monday, February 19 - Friday, March 1
The Room Selection Process for the 2024-2025 academic year is about to begin. Housing and Residential Life is excited to announce a partnership with StarRez, which will move our entire housing selection process online for the first time!
Students who are eligible to live on campus must apply for housing through the portal AND submit the $200.00 housing deposit.
The housing portal can be accessed through the Housing and Residential Life myMarist page. The application and deposit period are February 19-March 1, 2024. Student can submit the housing deposit through the housing application. The deposit can also be paid through the Parents Student Financial Services page on myMarist between February 19 and March 1.
If a student completes an application but does not submit a deposit or submits a deposit, but does not complete the application, they are not eligible for Housing Selection.
Please be sure to check in with your student that both the housing deposit and application are completed.
More information about the next steps in the process will be released over the coming weeks. If there are any questions, students can contact housing@marist.edu.

Marist Club Hockey falls in SECHL playoffs
After a 4-8 conference record and 9-11 overall record, Marist Club Hockey qualified for the SECHL playoffs, with a date with Siena College on February 9th.
With 1:26 remaining in the first period, Marist’s Jack Barone scored to give Marist a 1-0 lead, which they took to the end of the 1st period.
From there, Siena rattled off 4 consecutive goals, 3 of which came in the second period. Once the final buzzer went off, Siena had won 4-1 and set themselves up with a quarterfinal matchup on Saturday, while Marist College went home.
While not impossible, Marist Club Hockey’s hopes of a ACHA Regional bid is likely out of reach.

Intramural Sports kicks off this week
One of the most popular activities at Marist College, Intramural Sports, has begun once again. Although a snow day on Tuesday has delayed some starts, Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, Futsal and Wiffleball all kick off.
Marist students are flocking to Intramural registration, capping out the Basketball league and almost capping out Volleyball and Badminton.
Now that teams are registered, it’s time for the games to start. Teams will start their games this week, with the exception of those getting snowed out, with hopes of making Intramural playoffs and securing an elusive Intramural Championship t-shirt.
