October 2025

St. Raphael Pilgrimage - Registration Open

Join us on October 31st to November 1st for a weekend of fellowship and church services for one of AV's newest programs, St. Raphael Pilgrimage!

Anyone is welcome to join us either day. If you are planning on joining us for brunch on Saturday or planning to stay overnight, please register with the link below as we need a headcount for breakfast and can make proper arrangements in the cabins.

Program Schedule

All church services will take place in the Conference Center's Ss. Peter and Paul Chapel as this is the location of St. Raphael's reliquary.

Fort Ligonier Days Recap

This year's Fort Ligonier Days was a total success! With about 83 staff and alumni returning to help us over this busy weekend, we were able to raise just over $24,000! All money made this weekend goes directly to improving camp and caring for the needs of our campers! You can see our statistics from this years festival below.

Special thank you to alum Tim Kiley who helps make this weekend possible every year!

Thank you to everyone who came to help and support our booth!

Parent Resource - FaithTree

On this edition of The Gathering Place, we would like to highlight a new Orthodox Resource for Parents (and parishes), FaithTree. Spearheaded by our 2025 Family Camp guest speaker, Michelle Moujas, FaithTree Resources has started their new podcast Orthodox Christian Parenting. You can watch the episodes on Youtube or listen anywhere that you can find podcasts!

In addition to the podcast, Faithtree Resources has released two new e-books: “10 Things Every Orthodox Parent Should Know” and “Navigating the Digital Tsunami: Orthodox Strategies for Protecting Your Children.” These resources are designed to provide parents with both encouragement and concrete tools for navigating the challenges of modern family life. Together, they form part of a growing library available at faithtree.org/parenting.

RELIVE AV MEMORIES!

Hey AV Alumni! Do you love flipping through our photo albums when you come to visit? Well our previous Director of Communications Constantine Kallaur has scanned all of our photos from our photo collection going all the way back to 1981! In an effort to preserve the history of The Antiochian Village, we are in the process of digitizing as much content as we have. Our Director of Operations, Nick Dujmovic, has collected camp videos going all the way back to the 1990s as well.

Check out our SmugMug photo-site and our Vimeo page below to re-live the AV memories!
