AN UPDATE FROM THE ANTIOCHIAN VILLAGE
(Did you miss the Annual Appeal video? Check it out above!) | OUR FALL FUNDRAISER HAS OFFICIALLY KICKED OFF!!! | For those who may have missed it, we are planning on saving The Old Dining Hall from dilapidation by renovating it, and will rename it after our first camp director, Father John Namie. A generous benefactor has offered a $200,000 matching donation, and if we reach that match by the end of the year then we can move forward with plans for Namie Hall by the end of 2023.
|
At the halfway point of our second week (out of a four week fundraiser) we find ourselves 41% of the way to our $200,000 goal, which means there's been some significant effort from our AV family to help get the word out about this fundraiser, and which also means we need that effort to keep going stronger.
|
As for Session Wars, our competition to see which session can raise the most to save The Old Dining Hall:
- Session Two is currently in the lead with $25,582!
- Session Three has caught up to second place with $17,230.
- Session One has dropped to third place with $16,825.
- Session Four has dropped to last place with $7,515.

Check out the homepage on our website for regular updates on where the sessions are at, and catch veteran AV counselors Remy and Matthew (Matoota) weekly on all our social media for "Inside Session Wars," where they give their takes on how the sessions are doing.

We are incredibly thankful for where our AV family has gotten us so far, and we humbly ask for further generosity in these last few weeks of 2022.

Are you ready to sign your kids up for Summer Camp? How about Arch Week? Maybe Chanting Camp or Iconography Camp?

Make sure to save that date and time! Some of our sessions fill up very fast, and we want everyone to have as much of a heads up as possible before that first sign-up happens!

The Lodge Office is bursting at the seams! Liam Borris has finally arrived to begin his Spring Internship.
As anyone who's called the office over the Summer knows, Liam brings top tier customer service skills and a genuine passion for social connection to the front desk of The Village. We are excited to have him on board for the next few months.

The AV Christmas Ornaments are here! Order yours now if you haven't already, they're super pretty.
We've found ourselves asking a lot of our Antiochian Village family this season, but we want to take the time to say thank you as well. Thank you for the prayers you give us when you pray. Thank you for meeting us at the chalice every week at Liturgy. Thank you for trusting us with your children, yourselves, and your spiritual well-being when you join us in person. Thank you for giving us the opportunities to serve that make this life worthwhile. Thank you for being with us, because you are what makes this AV family unique. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We can't wait to give back the gifts we've been given to the campers of 2023.
