Parenting Moments
presented by Healthier Urban Families at Wayne State University
DECEMBER 2020
December is traditionally a month of giving. We give of ourselves through time, energy and gifts to our family and friends, Let us not forget to engage in self-care also. Please see the resource section where families in need can access assistance during the holidays as well as suggestions on charitable giving, including teaching young children the importance of giving. First and foremost this holiday season, let’s set aside time to enjoy our family and make traditions and memories. Let’s remember that COVID cases are rising at alarming rates in Michigan. Before that family gathering, let’s consider protecting ourselves and family by getting vaccinated and boosted
