Brant Wildlife Festival
Thank you to the many individuals and organizations that helped with the 26th Brant Wildlife Festival on Vancouver Island.

The festival celebrated nature, particularly the amazing migration of Brant geese as they rest and feed on the shores of Parksville and Qualicum Beach. Events ranged from wildlife viewing and guest speakers to a kids nature camp and a bioblitz hosted by the Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Region Research Institute. The festival was made possible by volunteer tour leaders and guest speakers, especially the Arrowsmith Naturalists, Friends of French Creek, and VIU Deep Bay Marine Field Station.

The Nature Trust of BC coordinated the festival with sponsorship from the Beach Club Resort , City of Parksville , Lohn Foundation, Mid Island Co-op, Regional District of Nanaimo and TD Friends of the Environment Foundation .
