Inclusion Corner: December can be a lonely and stressful month for many
It's the holiday season and that means joy, right? For lots of people, including many of the families we serve at CASA, the holidays are stressful and lonely. Whether these feelings of grief come from the loss of a loved one or the longing to be near family, this time of year can worsen mental health conditions or substance abuse disorders. Inviting an elderly neighbor to Christmas dinner, or offering to babysit while a single parent finishes up shopping are two great ways to be inclusive of others this December.
