A Special Message from our Friends at MCF



The start of a new year is a chance to re-imagine what can be possible—for ourselves, for our neighborhoods, and for our larger community. The TLC Women’s Giving Circle and its members are ever aware of the opportunity every individual has to shape a better present and future for others.

So what is possible? Starting with the gifts we each have—time, talent and treasure—we know that these personal resources can be expressions of what we care about most. We also know that volunteering, giving, or sharing our knowledge in collaboration with others can have an even bigger impact.

Here are 3 thoughts for your giving as we kick off 2023: be intentional, stay open to new ideas and different models, recognize the special bonuses of giving together as a group - whether the group is your family or your neighbors. READ MORE

From the Finance Committee

The Finance Committee announces immediate changes to The Lake Club Women’s Giving Circle policies.  These changes are being implemented after a unanimous vote by the Governance Committee at the March meeting. These changes will enhance and improve the sustainability of The Circle.

Pledge Payment Plan: For all new members joining the Circle, the full pledge amount of $1,000 is due (along with the current year’s $25 administrative fee). They no longer have an option to pay in $200 installments for 5 years. Please note: if you are currently using the partial payment plan you still have this option. Current members are not affected by this change. You still have the minimum $200 pledge due each year until you reach $1,000.  Why make this change? Only a few women took advantage of the partial payment option. Eliminating it will simplify our annual statement process. More money will be available to grant out.
