Thank you to this group from Schreiber Foods in West Bend! They came ready to roll up their sleeves and help at Family Sharing’s food pantry. Not only did they give their time and energy, but they also brought along amazing treat bags for students in our Bags in Backpacks Program.

From the Pantry

As a community that cares about and for one another, many of you are concerned about the implications of SNAP benefits being impacted by the government shutdown, and potential increases in health care costs for many. The following letter has gone our to address many questions. If you have additional questions, please call us, as we are doing our best to monitor communication from the government, Feeding America, and Hunger Task Force as it comes out.

Our Pantry Leads recently attended the Hunger Relief Federation Summit in Green Bay, presented by Hunger Task Force. The event brought together pantries from across Wisconsin to share ideas, strengthen partnerships, and focus on innovative ways to address hunger in our communities. Our team members returned energized and ready to apply what they learned as we continue our mission to fight food insecurity locally.

Pop In at Family Sharing

We’re here to help! Stop by our Pop-Up Pantry — it's a great way to pick up some extra items for your household.

When Family Sharing learns of a need in the community, we work together to help meet it.

Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge is one of the organizations we are proud to support when needs arise. When they reach out, our volunteers quickly organize to collect and deliver the requested items — demonstrating the power of collaboration and community partnership in action.

What a treat! We received a wonderful load of fresh strawberries — enough to share with our Family Sharing clients and with our friends at The Food Pantry in Port Washington.

We were awarded a Neighborhood Grant from The Starbucks Foundation. This grant helps us continue our mission to alleviate hunger in Ozaukee County with dignity and compassion. Thank you!
