Every day is Earth Day at St. Catherine's Montessori! At each level, students learn that we all have a role to play in keeping the earth healthy for the next generation. Our campus offers ample opportunities for children to explore a variety of plant life and habitats. Students receive lessons throughout their Montessori journey that connect them to the importance of sustainability and minimizing their impact on Earth. This responsibility goes hand-in-hand with our Catholic identity and central to our mission to guide students to be stewards of the global community.
A LOOK INTO OUR COMMUNITIES
First Plane (Ages 0-6)
Ms. Kathy's Primary class recently painted wooden eggs to celebrate Easter. The children chose all different colors to decorate their eggs. Click the picture to check out all of their wonderful creations!
Second Plane (Ages 6-12)
Ms. Veronica's Upper Elementary class has been researching individuals who made a large and positive impact on the world. A few include Malala Yousafzai, Mahatma Gandhi, Alice Paul, and Eleanor Roosevelt. The students gave presentations and were able to share many fun facts. Click on the photo to see pictures of the posters and presentations.
Third Plane (Ages 12-18)
The Adolescent Community has been hard at work writing for and creating this year's Literary Art Magazine, Across the Universe. This is one way our Language Arts work contributes to our microeconomy. We are looking forward to our first in-person LAM reading, and it will be your first opportunity to purchase this year's magazine. All students will be reading an excerpt from their piece. Looking forward to seeing you all there on May 4 at 6:30 PM in the gym!
REMEMBERING OUR FOUNDRESS
Sister Edna Ann used to love coming to school events like Spring Fling. Here she is, surrounded by students, at Spring Fling.
SPRITUAL
During the week before Easter, Holy Week, Primary and Elementary students participated in celebrations of Palm Sunday, Stations of the Cross, and the Liturgy of Light in the Atrium.

When students returned back to school after the Easter holiday, they celebrated Jesus' resurrection and the empty tomb. Click on the picture to enjoy more.
AROUND CAMPUS
Thank you to our parent volunteers who worked with Ms. Susan to design, source and plant the new pollinator garden beds in the Cypress Patio.
