What’s Your Gala Game Plan?

St. Catherine’s first-ever virtual gala is Saturday, April 17th, and now is the time to plan your evening and purchase your tickets.

The biennial SCM Gala is always the place to be to enjoy our community and raise funds in support of our shared mission. We will be virtual this year, but the objective remains the same: To celebrate the school and everyone who makes it unique, and ensure we have the resources to give every student the very best educational experience.

Proceeds from SCM Virtual Gala: A Celebration of Community will support the St. Catherine’s Montessori Tuition Assistance Program. Taken together with allocations from our operating budget and philanthropic gifts directed specifically to tuition aid, the gala will help us begin to meet the $130,000 assistance need requested by our families for the 2021-2022 school year.

Receiving financial support is sometimes the deciding factor in a family’s ability to remain here at St. Catherine’s, and we do our best to help them stay.

Purchase your gala tickets now through April 5th and consider making a gift in support of SCM families. We can’t wait to see you there!

Light at the End of the Tunnel
A Message from Sandra Espinosa, Counselor & Healthcare Coordinator
Dear St. Catherine’s Community,

I hope Spring Break gave everyone time to reconnect with family/friends in a safe, socially distanced manner and that you had many micro moments of gratitude. As I reflect on this time last year, a period of great uncertainty, confusion and loss, I feel immense gratitude for where we are today. Of course, we are not completely out of this pandemic, but I think we can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel with many folks getting vaccinated and high hopes that those numbers will increase significantly by the end of May. The last year has given us all so many valuable lessons to ponder. I’m sure all of us see the world through different eyes today than we did a year ago – I know I do.
