October 26, 2022

The SCM Annual Fund drive is happening now! We ask that every member of our community make a meaningful gift to support our school operations and allow St. Catherine's to continue our mission to foster our students’ innate desire to learn, nurture their spiritual development, and guide their journey of self-development.

Our goal is $200,000 and 100% participation from our board, parents, and faculty/staff.

Click here to make your gift or pledge by November 29, 2022.

Students should place their submissions in the large envelope on the Welcome Center desk by Monday, October 31. All drawings should include the artist’s full name on the back!

Thank you to everyone (over 360 of you) who came out on Saturday for PSO Fall Fest! The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and the company was the very best. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying each other's company and our beautiful campus grounds. A huge thanks to our volunteers, our friends at Happy Earth Compost, and the folks at Kickin' Kombucha.

Steps 4 Students Early Registration Ends Monday

Steps 4 Students is an annual event organized by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. It's an exciting day of family fun that brings together the Catholic community for a sunrise Mass and 5K race. Each Catholic School forms their own team and St. Catherine's always makes a strong showing. The race is scheduled for Saturday, February 11, 2023 and registration is open.

If you'd like to take advantage of early-bird pricing, click here to join Team SCM by October 31. Registration fees and donations made in honor of team members support SCM Athletics.

SPORTS ROUNDUP

Our volleyball and soccer seasons concluded last week. All of our teams registered wins during the season with varsity soccer taking it to the last game but, unfortunately, missing out on playoffs. All of our players did a great job and we're proud of the effort, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm they displayed throughout their seasons. The result is a very positive step towards rebuilding our sports teams and, via volleyball, an excellent introduction to our very first high school team. More exciting times are ahead. Go, Owls!

Basketball registration is open through the 1st, and the registration forms are available on FACTS Family Portal in the Resource Documents section.
