Registration is Open: The Montessori Journey
The Montessori Journey is a unique opportunity for parents to experience Montessori education as a participant in the classroom. Designed by a Montessorian and guided by our faculty, this annual two-day event provides parents with a hands-on tour of each level from Infant Community through High School.

The first evening is spent in silent observation of each level, followed by the second day when parents are presented with lessons and encouraged to work with classroom materials as their children do each day. Participants also have a chance to discuss the day with other parents and faculty.

The registration fee is $20/participant, which covers the cost of beverages and snacks, as well as lunch on Saturday.

We recommend that every parent attend The Montessori Journey during their time at St. Catherine's. Space is limited, and for currently-enrolled families only. Attendance is required both days.
COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Complete Your Volunteer Interest Form by September 19
volunteer_sheet_hdr.jpg
We ask that all parents review and complete the Volunteer Interest Form by Monday, September 19 to assist our committee chairs, faculty, and staff members in efficiently recruiting volunteers. With many events and PSO activities on the horizon, we are eager to form committees and organize the engagement opportunities scheduled for the year. Volunteering is a great way to connect with the school community and many long-time friendships have been forged around planning tables, in our gardens, and on the soccer field.

The form is available year-round, and you can edit it at any time using the link in your confirmation email.
We are excited for a fun year of volunteer opportunities, social engagements, and fundraising opportunities and look forward to seeing you throughout the school year!

ADVANCING THE MISSION
Fundraising Activities in 2022-2023
This year, St. Catherine's will coordinate two school-wide fundraising efforts: the SCM Annual Fund and our biennial gala. Each is important to the school's growth and financial health, and we invite every member of our extended community to participate. Please mark your calendars and read ahead to learn more.
The SCM Annual Fund begins October 18. We ask that every member of our community give or pledge by November 29, and the deadline to complete pledge payments is April 30, 2023.

Click here to learn more about the Annual Fund and our operating needs for this school year.
Gala is Saturday, April 15, 2023 and will be our first in-person gala since 2018! We are looking forward to hosting our community for a fun evening of dinner, dancing, and live and silent auctions.

Stay tuned this month for more details and click here to join the planning committee.
Thank you for making St. Catherine's a part of your charitable giving. It is our community's continued generosity and faith in our mission that support our daily operations, keeps tuition low, provides professional development for our guides and staff, awards tuition assistance to help families remain at St. Catherine’s, and funds campus expansion and improvement projects.

If you have any questions please contact Lyndsey Ray, advancement director, at [email protected].
