" Coming together to know Christ and make him known"
Sunday, September 8 Sermon:
"Elijah: The Man Who Stood in the Way" 1 Kings 17:1-7
Sunday, September 15 Sermon:
"Elijah: The Man in the Wilderness" 1 Kings 17:8-24
He Gave Us Stories” . We see the stories of real people in 1 & 2 Kings. They happen to be all men, but their stories relate to all of us as they encapsulate huge themes we face as human beings. We are going to look together at their plans and decisions, their successes and failures; so that we can see God’s steadfast love and faithfulness percolating up through their stories. These stories that God gave us point to our own faults and our own longings. But most importantly, they point to Jesus as the solution to our deepest need.
Sunday School Begins Sept. 8
Choose from Three Classes for Adults:
·  The Gospel Project  in Room 106: Leonard Wiley is leading discussion in the New Testament. The next session will cover: “Jesus the Savior” and “Jesus the Risen King”. There is no prerequisite, just come.
·  Christian Thought  in Room 104:  Led by Dr. Larry Frazier this discussion orientated class explores topics drawn from the Bible and Christian Life to equip disciples of Jesus to follow him well. This year we will begin with discussion of Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s “Cost of Discipleship”.
·  Faith in Life  in Room 107:  Led by Pastor Shelley Kral this class will explore the major themes of the book of Isaiah in order to deepen our love and appreciation for how God’s sovereign love, justice and mercy comes to life in human history.

Children: Teach Me to Worship
Prekindergarten-5th grade — Room 105, Trinity Hall
We have set aside this time to teach a children’s lesson focused on what it means to worship our Lord Jesus. Through learning Scripture, the confession of faith, and spiritual songs, they will grow in knowledge of how each element of worship draws us deeper into a truly personal relationship with our truly personal God. Hallelujah!
Toddlers 2’s & 3’s — Room 2, Sanctuary Wing
Our toddlers will sing, create, and play as they learn many gospel truths!
Infants & Babies (birth-24 months) — Room 1, Sanctuary Wing
Our little ones will be covered in gospel truths through singing and interactive play.

Youth: Junior High's in Room 108 and Senior High's in Room 109
