Greetings!
This weekend, we remember and celebrate our mothers. They are the epitome of the Good Shepherd. As they nurture, herd, support, care, and love us, we experience in a real way the very presence of God... This Good Shepherd Sunday is also a day to pray for all our priests – active, retired and those who are now with the Lord. We pray for those who have served our parish community, our diocese, and those who have been instrumental in our lives. Read More...
God Bless,
Fr. Ritche

Diocesan Priest Retirement Appeal
May 1st Second Collection
Throughout the Diocese of San José, priests serve as good shepherds to their flocks (the faithful of Santa Clara County). While some priests “retire” when they retire, others continue to perform some level of ministry throughout our Diocese.
Our retired priests rely on their Social Security and the Priest Retirement Plan payments for their living expenses and end-of-life needs. In recent years, the number of retired priests has grown significantly, challenging the diocesan retirement resources. COVID-19 has only increased the challenge to provide adequate care.
Your gift to the Diocesan Priests Retirement Appeal this weekend provides vital funding for medications, nursing care, and more to these priests who have been good shepherds and have kept their promises to the faithful of the Diocese. Thank you in advance for your generous support.
You can give online here. Please select "Second Collection" and look for this specific appeal in the subcategory.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
June 13 - 17
In labs, scientists run experiments and try to explain how things are possible. In Jesus’ ministry, He did things that are impossible. His greatest miracle of all was dying on the cross and rising from the dead for our salvation. Together, let's observe miracles in God’s Wonder Lab!
All incoming Kinder through 5th graders (2022-2023 school year) are invited to join us in person. Space is limited. Click here to register attendees.
We are also looking for adults to assist as teacher's aides, to lead recreation activities, and assist with craft and science. Sign up to help here. Questions? Please contact Melissa at melissa.brush@dsj.org
